A Little Bit About Myself

My full name is Jessica Lynn Ball, and I was born on January 25th, 1992 (yes, my birthday is in a week). My hometown is Brick, NJ which is on the Jersey Shore, about 20 minutes away from where the MTV show is filmed. I would just like to clarify right now that I am nothing like those people. My major here at Clemson is Microbiology with an emphasis on Biomedicine, and I plan on minoring in Food Science. Yeah, I really love science. But anyways, other than that I like to consider myself a decent, outgoing, fun person (I think we all like to think that). I love to play basketball and soccer, both of which I played in high school and will continue here through the intramural program. After college, I would love to go to graduate school back up north, and then continue on to work with a research team for a major pharmaceutical company or work in a research lab for the FDA. I think both of those jobs would be really, really, really cool; I guess that's the science nerd in me showing its true colors. But, even though science stole my heart, I love the arts and I'm excited to take the English and Theatre courses I need to fulfill my graduation requirements. So, with that said, I can honestly say that I'm looking forward to this class. Well, I guess that's me in a nutshell!
